Default Cam lope

Looking for the best performing cam with as much cam lope as possible. Only ride 1 up, have exhaust and an air cleaner. Plan on adding a nice tuner as well. I am a "spirited" rider. All the bids on YouTube seem to have similar idles ...would like a more "small block chevy with 103* lobe separation cam" idle..lol

yw....the way i look at it , i wanna put a **** load of miles on the 96 before i redo motor mods, but that just me why put new cams in when it close to new and just wait till it gets alot of miles on it then refresh it up with motor mods (alot eaiser to tune wit da carb)....if i had your money thats wut i would do...but thats just me...then next year send rocker box your fender and sporty tank for some CANDY...

You won't ever be able to get the "lope" out of twin cam that you did from an evo or shovel.. Idle needs to be 950+ to get proper oil flow.. The SE211 cam has a very distinct lope even at the 950+ idle but it's not a torque monster cam.. Still it's a lot of fun but needs a CR of 10.25 or better to realize it's performance potential..

SE204 has SBC idle you describe; a very underrated cam and the LSA is 104*. Think about it, the TC engines is 1/4 of the 350CI SBC.

Converting from EFI to carb doesn't have anything to do with engine lope. Idle speed can be set with the right EFI controller just like it can with a carb. The lope comes from the cam profile and can be exaggerated by lowering idle rpms but a choppy hot rod idle starts with the cam.
