Cam lope

Here you go brother! I can put it to you Barney style also(no sarcasm) if your interested. I know engines. I only posted this thread because Harley's are a completely different animal(in some areas) when it comes to sound ldle quality than a big 3(GM, Mopar, Ford) V8.

Heres a good one too...Shows more visually what each one means. The biggest Factor in a cam that determines idle is the lobe separation...

i was also looking for a cam that had a nice lope to it last year when i bumped my motor up to a 95", * djl definitely knows his chit when he recommended the SE204 to me on a different site ( CC ).
it's got that choppy idle & it pulls like a freight train, it's a VERY underrated cam,, & it's inexpensive to boot
been running it for a year now, thanks djl for the heads up

Theres a diff between lope and the potato-potato sound.....
Ur not going to get the spud sound with TC.. Idle speed has to be higher on a TC.
The best lope I've heard with a bolt-in cam is the SE 204's, period......
Son had them in his Deuce and NT...
Look at Called to Duty Dyno's, post 86 and 87 in the softail Dyno sticky thread.. He posted both of the dyno for those bikes..
Also notice the V&H's BR 2-2 better low end over the BSL's...

Here a sound track of the NT he had,, he was more proud of the pipes than the cams.
They sound better (lope) after it warms up a little and in person, the Vid just dosen't get it all .
