I know, it's all good. I just wanted to post a copy of my dyno sheet to show my point of what these cams do with stock compression.

 

Okay Okay... I was just stating what i've heard from a good friend who told me "Stay away from Bob Woods if you don't plan on doing the heads" But if you say they work good for you, I stand corrected.

Those are damn good numbers... No head work???

No problem, we all repeat "what we've heard", and we consider the sources reputable, but a lot times we take the other person's word for it, and they in fact didn't know what they were talking about. It's all good. And no, I didn't have any headwork done. That's just a simple stage 1 with the cam and a good dyno tune. I'll be switching to Jamie's 107" kit in the next month of two and hope to have some really good numbers. But what your friend may have heard is that the Woods cams "work well" with added compression, which is true, but not necessary.

 

I always thought the heads were pretty much the same but I guess not??? As for my friend, I would trust him with my life, so I do take what he says to heart. Seeing that we both (My friend and I) have 88ci... We can't just bolt in the 555... But in Mike's case YOU ARE RIGHT and there are more thing avail for the '07 and up 96ci.

Sorry Mike... You can get away with bigger on your year.
