I just don't like the look of a fairing on a Lo. I'm spending bucks to make it look old school and the fairing just don't work. The Bullet fairing seems to offer no real protection, so it would be a look thing and I just don't think it fits.

I like it. the protection would be my only concern. From what has been posted so far it does provide some relief.

Guys its all a matter of taste, some people love chrome ****** and others black bettys - go with what works for you.

The answer on the protection front though is that it absolutely works but clearly not like a massive perspex slab on the front of the bike like the touring screens.

I did 725km on Sunday and I can cruise at 90mph comfortably with no major buffeting, and if I want to really crank it up I duck down an inch or two and I am in the full protection of the screen - it flares out at the side. (I am 6' tall and have a barebones seat)

I have uploaded a really basic video taken on my iphone - not a very good idea but at least its something to give you an idea of the view

Yes it's quick release.

If you are less than 6' and have a low seat its entirely possible that you wont need to duck down!

Lets be really clear though you will get some head buffeting if you are 5'11" or over but for my money the fact that I can ride into the headwinds and not care is great.

I suspect that some people who have suffered from some front end wobble might be surprised at the fact that it disappears because the fairing actually helps reduce turbulence and cuts through the air.

I really can't say enough about this mod to the bike, it's made an impact on how much i ride, how far i ride and how fast i ride....thats a big impact.

I bought mine from jpcycles but i think there is a bunch of places.

To the Op looks good man. I like it. To the others that have done this good on ya. Believe me if I was some place where I could go over 50 miles an hour for more than 20 minutes I would have a fairing.
