Santa's Sleigh Has A Shotgun Shock!!!
Well, atleast my sled does now anyway!!! Thanks to Drew and Dr. Vtwin for hooking my wife up for the holidays...and me too, lol. Got the shock in todayas a Christmas/10 yr anny. gift, after UPS delivered to the wrong house due to a typo on the address (NOT Dr. Vtwin's fault).
Fireman1501 helped me install it, or I helped him actually. It was pretty straight forward. Had to the tap the two holes under the tranny to mount the compressor and run the wiring up behind the splash guard. Routed the switch wiring under the tank in the plastic channel that is already there and that was about it. I'm still playing with the settings and haven't ridden it yet, but so far I am very pleased. I can slam it and pretty much step over the seat. My progressive lowering springs get here Wednesday and then it will be super loooow!
One question, you guys that ride with yours slammed, how do you do it? My belt contacts the top of the primary case when slammed to the bump stops. Not that I would ride it that way anyway, but just curious.
Pics of course...

Nice! That wife of yours is a keeper. I never ride mine slammed, it kind of defeats teh purpose of a great ride in my opinion. I'd say raise it up a bit above it's lowest point and then sit on it to see how much if any clearance is needed, then adjust from there. So the big question is what is next?
