Default I Miss My Heritage

Looking for some input. I went from a sporty to a low rider to a heritage to an ultra. Been on the 03 ultra for 2 years. A great bike but I am not completely satisfied with it. I like the stereo and cruise but really miss the ride and handling of the softail. My wife seconds this. I might give it one more season, but I am thinking real hard about going back to a heritage. My heritage was a 94 evo. Looking to buy new or used. I might go 2010 to get ABS, but not a necessity. In your opinions what are the best recent years. Thanks for the info

2011 for ABS, I believe.

Which will you ride more? If you say Softail 90% of the time, sell the Ultra and buy a brand new Softail. If you say 50% of the time, buy an an old Softail for low $ and keep them both.

I was looking for a Street Glide when I bought my '09' Heritage. It just fit me better. Haven't looked back. You're right. They handle great and are very easy to ride. My '09 has been flawless. The new 2011 has some nice features like the ABS you mentioned and some controls/displays including an rpm/gear indicator. I would think if you're looking at a 96 inch (2007 up) I would almost think colors/features would be the only issues.
