Also try adding some Harley Goodies floorboard extensions. That may move the boards out enough so that it clears and you will love the new room they bring.

That will work but a pain in the ars to kick down...

 

I have the Harley Goodies on mine. I never really thought about how they affect it. The best under $50 mod you can do in my book.

Does the "Crossbones" come factory lowered? Because the last time i saw one it looked like a 4x4.

I thinking the lowest stand HD has are the "Deluxe" or "FatLo" stands.. (-1") .. Which he already has....

Im thinking of getting the CycleSmiths 19" non-studded banana boards, i hope i don't have the same problems.

 

The kickstand is 1" shorter due to the springer front end.
