Definitely go 39's...you will thank yourself for doing it believe me!!!!

Trust the rest of us on the board, if your jockeying between lengths...go for the longer set, otherwise you'll always wonder what it would be like with the longer set.

Wonder what the 39" would look like on my bike? Dunno if I went in the right direction for fishtails. Plus I think my jockey shift would hit the left pipe...

I went with the 28.5 and now regret it. Don't get me wrong they sound great, but once I have a few other mods out of the way I will go to the 39's. Do it right the first time unlike any of us.

Guys, don't you have troubles with the long pipes, when you go over curbs, etc. I like the look.

Back when I had fishtails, I started with the 28.5"'s. then I got some 36"'s. Then I went to a different kind of pipes, but if i would have kept fishtails I would have ended up with the 39"'s.

I am gettin ready to get a set myself...I would like to hear what the 39"s sound like but its hard to find any cycles in my area with them. I think after everyone here has said I'm just gonna go LONG!

I could be wrong, but I would not think the length would have any thing to to with the sound.I think the 23,28.5,33,36,39's would all sound the same.I think the difference would be if you run the baffles or not.Although the longer you go the more mello they sound when ridding, because the sound is so far behind you.But the guy behind you wont be too happy.Maybe thats why all my boys want me to stay in the back of the pack.
