Softail oil cooler

Softail oil cooler
The search feature here is so screwed up it's unusable, so I no longer bother with it. I want cooler oil and am considering adding an oil cooler of some kind for my '07 Heritage. Ebay has quite a variety, but most seem to be lacking the hardware & mounting brackets. I haven't looked closely at the plumbing on my bike, but will I need to change anything where the oil filter screws on? For those of you using oil coolers, what do you recommend.

I've had the Motorcycle Innovations Cooling on my Softail for about 4 years now. I think its a great unit. http://www.jpcycles.com/motorcycle-i...ns/oil-coolers
If I had to do it over again, I would have taken a longer look at the JAGG. About the same setup. But I still love the look of the cooler.

Do you have the 6 row, or 10 row?
I wanted to put a Jagg oil cooler on my 2007 Softail Custom, but they only offer a 6 row when mouting the cooler below the voltage regulator.
If you want a 10 row (for a Softail), you have to mount it on the down tube, which I'm not crazy about. Looks a little out of place.

I can get you whatever you need. Jagg is a great company. Yes, you need a piece that screws on where the filter goes as that is how the oil will get to the oil cooler. I can get all the brackets and everything. I am holding out for UltraCool as they are going to be making a softail model of their oil cooler with a built in fan from what I hear.

I went with the Jagg and was concerned about road debris and the possibility of it leaking or being damaged but my concerns have been unfounded in 50k miles.
It works as promised and I have NO worries about it anymore..........
And you do have to install an oil cooler adapter.
Forget about a thermostat, it's not necessary.

I have a 10 row on my Road King Classic, so I'm a little disappointed having to put a 6 row on my Softail Custom.
How much of a temperature reduction did you notice with the 6 row?
BTW, what is a TrueTrack?
Thanks

Mine's a 4 row cooler, not 6.
