Had this problem on my carbed quad bro i had to adjust the fuel flow made it run a lil more rich works like a charm now

 

if th ebike sat for a while, there's a good chance the pilot(slow) jet is plugged.
pull carb & visually inspect pilot jet.

 

Did the bike come from a higher elevation?

The first thing I would check for is a vacuum leak. Spray some water from a spritzer around the carb and heads with the bike running and as little of the enricher it will stand and see if the idle picks up. If it does, you have a vacuum leak.

Before I went to messing with the carb you can have someone take an AFR reading at the end of your pipes and see if the bike is too lean.
