I too brought my bike in from the states when our dollar was worth about $0.80 US and I still saved a bundle. Floyd2 and/or Augusts hit the nail on the head, also now it the time with the Cnd $ being more than the US $.

I live in NS and just bought a 2010 Heritage Softail from Illinois. Bike arrives tomorrow I brought the bike in through Classis Chasis in Peterborough. They did everything. All that's left for me now is the NS Safety and pay the difference in provincial tax when I register it. Bike only had 2500 miles on it. I had them put on close to 3k in extras. In total I figure I saved close to 3k. I would've done it even at break even. The local HD dealership was hard to deal with...guess that's what happens when you have a monopoly. Fak em
