Default need help on lights real quick

I am in the process of putting a new look together . I have my 04 softail standerd
rear fender that is stock bobbed that im going to swap with a 06 fatboy fendrer (hope it is a direct fit) . My question ... will the stock break light work in the fatboy fender ?
Will this all work out ?

I need to know something ASAP as the order is about to be placed on the fatboy fender if it will work on my bike ?

Im sooo lost

The signals bar will not work on a fatboy fender unless you drill some homes in the fender. The deluxe and heritage fenders have a recess for the signal bars that the Fatboy does not have.

It should fit, it's the standard taillight upside down. you might have to get the base for it though.

Part number for the chrome base is 68296-99A

I still don't know if it will work. It looks like mine upside down.
