Default Easy Brackets for Saddlebags

Thinking about ordering a set of Easy Brackets for my 05 Heritage. Does anyone have them on their bike? How do you like them? Do they look good? Do they fit tight against the bike and not wobble? Don't make any noise? It would be cool to take them off when I don't need them or when I'm at a hotel at night. Just don't want them to stick way out and look wierd.

They don't stick too close to the bike. I am sure someone will post pics. Check out the Hog Deluxe setup if you want your bags to fit tight against the bike.

My bags are nice though. I don't want to buy new bags. I don't see where they just sell brackets.

I have Ghost Brackets on mine (also branded as Edge Brackets). They are very similar to Easy Brackets. I don't have pictures from the rear of the bike, but they only stick out an inch and a half or so. Not really that noticable, in my opinion. Not sure what Easy Brackets' install procedures are, but you might want to take a look at this thread I made earlier this year with a sagging issue I had with stock Heritage bags and the Ghost Brackets. If Easy Brackets installs the same on OEM bags, you'll eventually have the same issue unless you leave on the original bracket.

IMHO opinion the easy brackets/ghost brackets look like crap.

I far prefer the simplicity of barebacks as well...

Bubbas Brake had the best ones around. I'm hoping the company that bought them will start selling that detach kit again.

Easy brackets take a second to go on or off. When you stop for the night it's no problem to get your bags off and take them with you.

I've got Barebacks and they do not make the bags stick out as far as Easy Brackets do. However, if you have a detachable sissy bar combined with the Barebacks, they will stick out pretty far and it looks kinda goofy (at least with my HD Branded Deluxe hard bags. Not sure how Easy Brackets look with a detachable sissy bar. The bigger lip/overhang the inside of your bags have, the less noticiable it will be. Hope this helps.
