This is where I relocated my ECM and Coil to. Right behind the rear splasg guard. Ive had it like this for 9 months now and I havent had a problem. I also did my roomates train.

im about to do this on my LO... did you guys "have" to take the tank off to get to the engine mount????

took tank off to run the wires though the backbone

Great idea. The only concern would be if it gets too hot with no air flow when the tank is on, and sitting so close to the heads and cylinders. Summer temps here get in the mid 100s. I have no idea, just curious if that could be an issue.

If you mount it behind the splash guard you have to get longer wires... the way that I did it, I had to get two wires 12" long.
