I like the idea about the black spokes and complete the black front end with headlight. Then I think you are "there". BB and cams fer sure....

Just my $.02, when I got where you are with my '01 fxst, I traded it for a '10 Xbones. Now the process starts all over.

 

strutless rear fender, black spokes and I would pull those bars back alittle to follow the lines of the bike more. like you care, right?

 

Nice blackout job. I would put some custom wheels maybe some contrast cut ones. I would also do a paint job nothing too crazy maybe just something over the top of the stock paint and re-clear it. The only other thing I might do is stretch the front end but not to much just enough to make people think.

Now that I've finally landed my 'bones, I'm trying to put as much work in it myself, without hiring someone to do it for me. Plus, I absolutely love this bike and hope to never sell it. Of course, we say these things, and ten years down the road you get the itch to do it over. lol
