maybe because you sit in seats? Seats are for sitting on atleast that's how it's worked the past 25 years of my life.

 

Not that it's a big deal but, I've always called it a saddle.
I'm sure you've heard others call it that.
As usual on this forum, got to have someone jump out and chastise you for making a simple comment.

 

I've heard some people say in order to get to be a good rider you need more saddle time. Never heard someone say you need more seat time. and I don't sit in my saddle, I sit on it.

 

Yeah, technically it's a saddle. But everyone (well, most everyone) calls it a seat.

 

Saddles are for horses.

 

But anyways guys I belive we were talking about seats on this thread not saddles
