Is this the battery charger plug?
So I have a trickle charger that I used to use on my 2008 Street Bob but I now have a 2005 Deluxe. I've used the trickle charger on a few other bikes, but the Deluxe doesn't seem to have the same type of connection, or at least I can't find it.
All I can find is this big cig. lighter looking type plug coming from the battery, but I have no idea what kind of adapter/trickle charger I need for it.
Any help?

That cig lighter adapter isn't stock on a Deluxe. Im sure the previous owner put it in. First thing i would do is to get rid of that bulky looking plug.
As for the battery tender mine connects to the terminals. I run Sears "die hard" battery tender. I ran my small plug wire to the back fender.

That looks a lot like a Powerlet Plug.

They can be used for a lot of things such as to power accessories, heated clothing, or to connect a charger/maintainer to the battery, if your charger has the appropriate plug. BMW motorcycles use those type plugs and you can buy them from the web site above.
It is NOT a cigarette lighter plug. Using it as such could cause damage as it is not designed to be used as a lighter plug.
Do you have a trickle charger or a maintainer? There is a difference.
If it was my bike, I'd take off that plug if I had no use for it and put on a Battery Tender type connection and run it out under the seat somewhere so you could get to it easily without taking anything apart.
