wobbling in the curves. How to fix?
twisty curves make the back end of my heritage softail wobble like a rowing machine twisting from side to side. It gets so bad that if I dont slow down im gonna eat it. Put progressive fork springs in the front . Tightened up rear shocks twice. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Sounds very dangerous to say the least. What year, how many miles? Did it happen prior to progressive springs installed? Fork oil? Check tire pressure, inspecting tires (ie cupping), wheel bearings, swing arm bushings, check/adjust headset bearings, rear wheel alignment.

If most of your riding is conservative straight up and your rear tire has "set in" to a specific pattern, when you start rolling over onto the side tread there is often a "lurch". This is due to a ridge which has formed between the most used part of your tire and the unused side tread of the tire.

The wife was having a similar problem on her Deluxe. Checked the spoke tension, no help. Opened the service manual and adjusted the head/neck bearing and the bike tracks straight as an arrow and the wobble is gone. I personally don't like doing more than one thing before checking the problem again, too many fixes done at once leaves me wondering exactly what the problem was.
