Default FatBoy Lo--D&D Fat Cat or Low Cat

Has anyone put a D&D Fat Cat on their FatBoy Lo and, if so, do you scrape excessively on right hand turns? Am I better off with the Low Cat? Any help is appreciated.

I will impart my personal experience with a fatcat on my ride. I run an air ride and always have since I have had the fatcat on the bike. A lot of it has to do with how and where you ride. Do you ride twisty canyon roads often? The only time my fatcat has ever scraped with the bike in the up position is on twisty canyon roads with off camber turns. With the Lo being 1" lowered from the factory If I personally were to ride the bike I am sure it would scrape here and there. But, that does not mean that it wills crape for everyone. We all ride differently and different types of terrain. That being said, if you add a Shotgun shock to your ride you could set it so that it would never scrape as the shotgun allows you to set the ride height 2" higher than stock suspension on the Lo.

Another factor in the equation is how you have your stock suspension set. You can always set it stiffer to keep the bike from going as low.

For my money I still would have gotten the fatcat even if I rode your bike with stock suspension as I far prefer the look of it to that of the lowcat. If it gets scraped here and there it is on the bottom of the exhaust that no one can see regardless. I have had numerous exhaust systems and have scraped them all at one time or another, never on purpose.
