Default Heat Deflectors

I've got an '03 Softail here in Phoenix. This fall and what we call a winter, riding won't be bad. Come next summer the heat coming off the motor will start to cook the the boys. Can anyone recommend a good set of heat deflector and engine fan that won't burn up? I've heard some bad stories about the engine fan that they sell at the Harley shops.

I recomend the Kuryakyn shields. I don't know what was causing the numbness in my left upper thigh. I couldn't tell if it was air flow, heat, vibration, or what ever. For $75 it solved the problem, and they're virtualy invisible.
