Got a dealer discount coupon and have been wanting a center stand so I took the plunge. I have had center stands on everything except my Sportster and I do like them. Came in a big box but not much inside. Had to remove the exhaust bracket which was the hardest part of the job. Finally got the grinder out and cut the bolts off so I could get them out of the bracket without taking the mufflers off. Those that try this will understand what I mean. Red locktight on the four bolts and it is installed. A big prybar will help align the holes.

I have the stand as short as it will go and it is easy to lift on to the stand with saddlebags and top case full. The tire rests on the ground and is easy to roll forward off the stand. It is as stable as any centerstand that I've had on other bikes. This is one purchase that I like unlike those that I wondered what I was thinking.
