Things are back on track...Need ape help..
It's been a couple of months now since the wifes accident, money was tight and things were looking pretty bad. But I had to do what I had to do and I sold some of my toys. I was able to pay off two credit card bills, put money back in the bank, and kept some cash on the side for the fatboy.
I was in the process of putting apes on the lo when all the $hit went down.
This is where im at. Tell me if I'm missing anything
Things I have:
-Bars (carlini 12" flyin apes)
-2010 Soft tail service manual
Stuff I still need:
-wire extensions
-extended cables (thinking +6)
-Bushings for risers
-grips
-Exhaust gasket
-gasket for the cover of the clutch cable
-brake fluid
-Wire loom
-Heat shrink
Is there anything else Im missing.
Thanks for all your help......

Heavy padding to cover the work area of the bike incase a tool slips.
I ordered and received Avon air grips but not sure if I prefer the look over my current ISO grips though.
Good luck on the change out. Bill emailed me that mine will ship out on Wed. I still need to get a clutch release cover gasket and Derby gasket to adjust the clutch after the new cable.

Hey Nubs, I just went through this. Sounds like you've got things pretty well covered.
I couple things I thought of,
New Banjo Bolt gaskets if they don't come with the new brake lines.
Plenty of Zip Ties.
An offset 11/16" box wrench makes tightening the clutch nut a lot easier after adjustment.
If you're gonna remove the gas tank, run it as dry as you can first. Some guys say you can just slide it back, but I found it was a lot easier to just remove it to get at the wires and Throttle/Idle cable routing.
Also, if you've never removed the tank before, you'll need to cut the clamps holding the crossover line so you'll need a couple new hose clamps.
You don't NEED this, but for bleeding the brakes, a Mity Vac makes the job a lot easier.
Some good quality electrical tape.
A BIG pair of Snap Ring pliers for inside the Trans when you change the Clutch Cable.
That's about all I can think of, good luck and just take your time.
