I really don't know, all I can say is with this a/c, my pipes and my tuner. I can finally keep up with my friends. I'm sure if a normal size... ... person would ride my bike, it could haul ***!
I like this with the black outer edge. Is it paint or powder. I may do mine with black gloss. Here's how it is now
I taped off the center with 3M painters tape. Then I took 400 grit wet/dry sandpaper to the chrome to scuff it up. I used the paper dry. After cleaning with a tack cloth I used self etching primer, 2 coats. The primer is kind of OD green color and I picked it up @ O’Riley auto along with VHT wrinkle paint.
The VHT wrinkle paint is used by Hot Rod guys on valve covers and stuff like that. Its looks like power coat when done, but its paint.
After the 2 coats of primer dried I shot the VHT wrinkle black on, 3 or 4 very light coats. When dry I unmasked it and baked it in the oven per the cans instructions. The paint is cool how it works, it goes on smooth and as it dries it wrinkles to a color and texture that matched the night train black. I did it over a year ago and it still looks great. My pants leg rubs against it on the back side when I ride and it has held up awesome. I wanted to break up the chrome and I thought it turned out great.
Good Luck.

Is mine that unique or just that ugly? 7 pages and noone has posted the S&S Tuned Induction. I like it.
Got my vote! Looks cool and is probably one of the better performing intakes out there. Does it stick out any farther than the heavy breather or is it about the same?
