Yup...those hp claims are definitely true. Average hp on a stock 96b engine is around 65-70. I'm running 121 at the wheel so that's just under twice the hp of the engine. My pipes don't help either....2-2 v&h BR(no baffles)

My dad is running a procharger on his Vette. 650hp but he could easily go higher with some engine work. I tried to convince him to put a procharger on his street glide but he doesnt like the look of a procharger on a HD. I dont need all that power yet on my X-bones. But then again I think a wheelie on my bike would snap my springer front end.

You're doing this w/o any other engine mods? Once my chopper project is done, I'll have 39k in my bike sooooo will probably wait awhile before sinking any more money into it. It seems as though a procharger is a better deal than a big bore kit for actual HP gains.

Instead of entering the Softail threads, you can scroll down a little further, and there are threads for Nitrous/ Blowers/ ect. That's where Frank hangs out.

Yup..my engine is completely stock....not even an aftermarket cam. I'm going to get my WHOLE engine re-done next winter (forged crank, rods pistons...etc). Probably bump up the boost 2-4 psi as well. Haven't had any problems with it either...runs great.

http://www.procharger.com/motorcycle.shtml

With intercooler it costs around $5600-$5800. Always heard it was great for engine life also. I'm doing cams and porting heads. Then procharger if it ever rains gold.
