Well i'll be dammed, looks like I am not alone here. Man it was a pain in the a$$ dealing with the scratch issues before finally getting a good kit. Sorry to hear about all the problems and delays with this part...but not surprised at all.

Good luck for those still waiting to get one. I will say that it is one of my favorite additions I made to my bike...and at the same time one of the worst experiences doing a mod to the bike I've ever had.

 

mine had a dent in it close to the top of the forks!

 

I hope to be ordering one soon. Keeping my fingers crossed.

 

I'm growing impatient. I have all of these parts ready for install but, no nacelle. I think that I'm going to get my money back for the nacelle and exchange the visor trim ring for the nacelle for the regular one and start installing. I'll deal with the nacelle if and when it becomes available again.

 

I am in the same boat, have a Chrome Front end to go on diamond back cables etc etc. I wanted to get the Nacelle put on at the same time, I would rather have it all done at once .

 

I did the same thing. CANCELLED MY ORDER. I'll wait til they get it right and do it over the summer. use the money for something else.

 

Done the same here too! Give up! Waiting now til April, as someone mentioned in an earlier post!

 

Ive still got mine on order. I figured its paid for and if for some reason there is a limited quantity when they do come available, I didnt want to be standing in line. I'll forget all about it by April and it will just be sitting on my porch one day. Maybe lol. I hope all y'all end up with one. Its a damn good lookin mod.

 

I never got to order mine! I was asked for the full amount to order but then told there on back order & couldn't even be given a date? My thoughts were, until you can give me a date, the money is better off in my bank than yours! So just been phoning each week to hear the same? So just not chasing anymore, til April? Well thats unless you come on here going "got mine Losers!" Then I'll phone. LOL!

 

Maybe I'll get mine, then they will be discontinued...then I'll post an auction lol. HD should put them on every bike at the factory. I'll let ya know if I hear anything new about my order...as of right now it says 3/31/12.
