I got the warranty when i bought my 06 Heritage, previous owner had 103 SE Stroker kit installed. Mine is supposed to cover everything for $25. i had a brake light switch go out and melt taillight and they fixed it for $25. Now the thundermax tuner is acting up and they tell me they do not know how to work on it. The dealership is always good about making things right, this will be a test. Service called and said bike was ready they could not fix it no charge. But it is gonna cost me to fix it so can i submit cost to my warranty?

If the dealer cant fix it i doubt the warranty will cover it and they probably wouldnt anyhow since its a add on.

everyone looks at it different. I agree with the if you pay cash tell the dealer 30 day warrenty for free or no deal, and if you finance the bike go ahead and get the warrenty. as for truing the crank if it gets out of balance. I just had to rebuild the engine in my 2000 fatboy because the counterbalance got out of adjustment. I baught the bike knowing something was wrong. it ran me about 2800 bucks, the bike had 108,000 miles on it, you think you will put a 102,000 miles on your bike in a year.lol. I would think your safe.

sounds like your paying cash, so take the advice from two different members, get the 30 days free. and then take the 1100 and put it in a seperate account and add a little to it when you can. and enjoy the ride!
