'06 Heritage Softail - Known Issues?
Recently bought about 15,000 miles on it. Any known problems this year model I should watch for?

The only problem with mine is I keep wanting to buy stuff for it. Other than that no.

last year of the spring cam chain tensioners....check them in 10k...run synthetic

The engines are known to spin crank bearings at around 16,000 miles.

Injectors had a recall,might want to look into that.Just had mine replaced. H-D covered the cost.

The early 06 models had issues with the injectors. There was a Service Bulletin.

The only problem I have had with mine was that the stator went out at 20,000 miles. It was repaired under warranty. I also changed over to gear driven cams at 38,000, but that was my choice. The bike now has 74,000 on it and still running strong.
