Tried on a Fulmer, Bell 500, and biltwell today. Love the Biltwell, but non DOT is not an option of me. Of the other two, I am going with the Bell 500 in flat black.

Thanks everyone...I think I'm going with the Biltwell.I really don't mind non DOT as that's all I have ever had. if I did DOT it would be the Custom 500.

I sport the Bell 5 hundo when I do the helmet thing. Light weight, low pro, and very comfy. Sits just as low but more comfy than the biltwell IMO.

Attached is my helmet...it's not a Bell but it was once on a Bell UH-1....it's not DOT approved but is approved by the US military....now if I could just plug that Vietnam era speaker plug into my iPod I'd be set....

Bell Custom 500, I hear good things about HardRock (they are similar). cautious it is not suitable for hot weather, you will sweat a lot .

ive got multiple half shells and one full face for the cold days. have never considered a 3/4....maybe I'll give it a try
