Default Nacelle does not fit! LOL!

Well, I am the sucker who thought I scored a deal but this nacelle I bought does not fit and is not made for my bike as the mounting holes in the side do not line up with the mounting holes. I have filed a PayPal claim as it specifically said it would fit my bike, but I don't think so! The good news is that the passing lamps are finally on and hopefully I figured out the battery drain issue. Only one way to find out.

When I put on a new circuit breaker last week it seems my crimp on the connector was not crimped well and there is a possibility that this caused the battery to drain as it was connected enough for power to flow through, but not enough for the battery to charge if that makes sense. That is the best I can explain it right now with my fried brain.

The passing lamps from a deluxe will bolt right up to a fatboy as long as you do not sue the metal strip that connects the front and rear pieces of the fork tins together. I could have gotten crafty and dremeled the bracket down, but there was no need. I have to do the wiring tomorrow and will wire it so they can be on with low and high beams and also be turned off by the switch.

That's too bad man... Good thing about that is you paid with Paypal. So only thing you loose is shipping and your time.

I took everything apart and had to put it all back together as it was. It is my fate for trying to save money.
Gonna have to save a few more dollars for the right one.

Like BLKnCHRME09Deluxe said, good thing you went through paypal.
At least you found a possible reason your battery died.

Damm Drew that sux I was looking forward to seeing your ride with the nacelle installed. When I was looking for a Nacelle kit on ebay I found a few deals on a few kits but they seemed to sketchy or to good to be true. Good luck on getting your cash back, it shouldn't be a problem good thing you used paypal.

It's no big deal. Rewiring them is not a big deal. It just takes time.

I know, but this one stated 2000-2004 fatboy and Heritage and I ride a 2002 fatboy! Wrong.
