crossbones and battery tender
Need some of your expertise out there :-)
I'm getting ready to store the bike for the winter and I'm looking to purchase a charger/tender/trickle for winter storage and I'm looking for some help.
Looks like the bike came with a connector already attached to the battery and I'm wondering if I have to by a HD smart tender to plug in directly or will the battery tender Jr. have the correct attachement?
This is what I'm looking at...

Thanks in advance for the help!

They are pretty much all universal connections. The have the 2 bank battery tender and it looks exactly like the harley version. I wouldnt be suprised if the company (Deltran) that makes the battery tender also makes the harley version, just adding the harley sticker and $50 to the price.

Do you guys attach your battery tender only over the winter, or during extended times where you don't ride (e.g. vacation, etc.)?
I don't have a tender, and I don't think I have an attachment to hook it up to the battery, but I'd be interested in getting one... hell for $19.99 I'd probably be stupid not to...
I've always left my other motorcycles parked over the winter without being plugged in. So far haven't ever had a problem come spring starting the bike right up... I guess better to be safe than sorry.
