No complaints here. Plenty of power riding two
up from 2300 to over 7000 ft. I have the shotgun
Air suspension so i don't sacrifice looks over ride
comfort. As far ad upgrades the list is endless.
Thanks for your service from one vet to another
be safe and get that scoot.

How does the rider like it for a long ride?

One of our local shops had a heartland kit on a custom rocker they built with a ww2 bomber theme, it was one of the best lookin bikes id seen for a while. Make sure you spend some time on here lookin at everyone's bikes to make sure that's really what you want and i'm sure you'll be happy with what you get. And thanks for what you do for our country!

Love mine, '09 changed the seat as soon as I could to a Danny Gray, made a huge difference in feel. I found that I couldn't get on the back brake do to the breather being there, as soon as I changed the seat it was much better. The feel in the corners is just that, takes a bit to get used to, just like a good woman, but ride it like you mean it and she handles like she loves ya!! Apes and paint are next for me over the winter!!

Selfish, I bought the second seat from heartland. Its over rated and priced for what you get. We rode from phoenix to San diego which s about 800 mile round trip and no complaints from her.

I going with sissy bar and custom made second seat which will be a big improvement in the looks department.

I have an '09 which is my first street bike. I think it handles fine, I used it to pass my license exam which a lot of crotch rockets couldn't do(probably rider error though). Power is good for a while but the 6 speed trans is geared to make off the line power a little sluggish. Soon you'll want more, but don't we all. The only problems I have with the bike is the lack of storage for long trips and the seat issue. I strap a duffel bag to the handle bars for trips and unfortunately have to use the ROCK HARD stock seat for 2 up riding. With the Danny Gray seat i have ridden to Ky. which is 6 hrs for me with no issues.
