The hardware came as part of the saddlebags. I haven't been able to find the hardware seperate as a kit. They list a fender mounting kit which includes one side mounting bar and 2 spacers, that number is 71797-04. But in the parts breakdown that came with the bags the mounting bar by itsself is listed as "not sold". So I'm assuming that you can only get it with this particular set of bags. Hope this helps.

 

Here are some pics using the Bare Back system. I like it best for it's clean look. Also these are the Leatherworks 120 bags with Weave made specifically for the Deluxe. They actually have room to use them!

 

The tour pak works with the same mount as the detachable backrest. So if you add the detachable kit for the saddlebags as well as the backrest/tour pak you can have yourself a bike with many personalities. You can go buck naked (no bags or back rest), bags only, bags and back rest, or bags and tour pak. By far the most bike for the money.
