Default Need circuit breaker help stuck on side of road

Look at your circuit breaker under the splash gaurd and tell me if there is a red cable and a yellow cable attached to it please. It looks like mine came out of it's holder and the red cable broke. To top it off it feels like the breaker is stuck to the back of my metal splash gaurd. Tow truck on the way. This a first with this bike

Oh well, I am already home. Hats off to AAA mc towing. Free and they were there in about 15 minutes. So, the red wire from my circuit breaker broke off and the circuit breaker seems to have shorted out on the metal splash guard. I'm done for today, I'll tear it down in the am.

The manual makes it hard to tell if I can just replace the red cable so I guess I will figure it tomorrow. The funny thing is this all started after I installed anew map on the PCIII for my 95" kit. If I would ahve jsut left it alone...

You should have had plastic acorn nuts on the studs to keep it from shorting agaist the frame or splash guard. Mine had fallen out of the holder once so I tie wrapped it to the holder so it would not happen again. Sorry you had to be stuck on the road with a new motor just wanting to be broke in.

There were no acorn nuts. Oh well. It looks like the red cable needs to be replaced and the circuit breaker zip tied into it's holder.

It seems I will need a new circuit breaker as the old one is melted to the splash guard. Hopefully I can just splice the wire and reattach it, and of course make sure it is snug in it's holder with a zip tie. It shouldn't be too bad.
