For me it's pretty easy 3 quarts of Oil a new filter 4 beers during of course the cigar to burn off any fumes then a few more beers after while checking for leaks. That is one thing that is real easy to do on the old EVO other then ride on. For oil you can use the recycled oil from a buddy that has a honda.

only you honda riders would read directions how to change oil
Honda's shop manual instructions for the GoldWing has the tech removing several pieces of body work. Some guy started selling oil filter wrench's allowing removal without any body part removal. So basically, forget the instructions.

By the way, an oil change on the GW was much easier than my UC.

Has anybody used this to help remove the oil thats left inside the engine during an oil change? You screw it on inplace of the filter, fill the oil, start the engine and dran another 16 to 20 ozs.

'IF' I rode a metric bike, I might be tempted to do something like that.
But not on an air cooled Harley.
It can often get too hot for its own good and with the physical size of the parts trashing around in there.
Changing the oil is the far and away the cheapest insurance you can buy for the engine.

I haven't used that one, but I bought the one from Rogue Chopper and it works great.

I don't care what your running, changing your oil without a filter replacement would classify you as being freak'n stupid
