That is a very nice looking ride. Very clean and well executed. Nothing tacky there...

Nice looking setup! I'm in the process of doing this to my Fatboy (Slimbags and a Woody's Fairing). Question: It looks like you used some quick release brackets. Which kind did you use, and did you try it with the supplied brackets as well? I have some Easy Brackets, but not sure if they will work given they are for the forward 2 bolts on the fender rails. If anyone has pics of a similar setup, I'd greatly appreciate feedback and photos.

Easy Brackets is exactly what I used. I did not use the hardware that came with the bags. Don't forget to post pics and good luck!

Nice! Like the unobtrusive mounting system you used....looks like it's hardly noticable with the bags removed.

I used the baggertail on mine w/ factory bags; not so hot with the bags removed.

Looks great to me! Do those bags hold, say, a half helmet? or a gallon of milk?
I am looking into getting some bags or a trunk type storage on the 07 Deluxe that I just got. I have a Road King Custom...that I just put hard bags on, also have a de=tachable fairing w/tunes. they are very different bikes, the Deluxe feels like half the weight and a lower center of gravity and the RK seems to float along on the highway but noticably "heavier" at very slow speed maneuvering
by the way, what are Easy Brackets?.

I like the look but don't get a fairing without tunes, just me I guess.

Opinions aside, the bike looks like it was meant to be that way now that you have it done. I suspect that is the goal, aside from being happy with it yourself.

Thanks! I don't know about a gallon of milk or a half helmet. I would say a novelty helmet (which is what I mostly wear) would be about it. Great for gloves, jacket, rain gear, etc.
If you want more info on Easy Brackets then go to their website: http://easybrackets.com. They've been around a long time and make an excellent product.

I'm an iphone and earbuds guy. I've tried speakers, bluetooth helmets, etc. Nuthin' like havin' the music squirtin' right down your ear canal.

Actually, the way I prefer it is naked. I only put the bags and shield on when I need 'em. That's the beauty of quick detachables.

Hmmm.... for some reason, there's something familiar about your bike. 8^)

Glad you like it. Have had the same setup on mine for 2 years more or less.
