I've got a little over 13,000 km on my current one, but it's only got about 2,000 km left in it, so around 15,000 km. That works out to be about 700 shy of 10,000 miles, but I'm pretty aggressive and do a lot of around-town riding.
Curious since I have a Street Glide with custom wheels. Put a 200/17 on the rear and a 21 on the front. The Avons I am running crapped out about 8500 miles on the rear. Great tire, sticky, more a sport bike tire than a tourer. Wish dunlop made a 120/21 front, the mh90 is just too narrow. May consider the Dunlop rear next time due to longer life.
Keep the post commin!
20,000km from the first set but after the engine work in had the much harder 401s down to 15,000km, and I reckon I'll be lucky to get 12,000 out of the new 407s I have on it now. Pretty good overall though.
My stock Dunlop 407 rear only got 5,500 miles, until it was down to 1mm of tread left at the twi(tread wear indictator). I bought the bike used so I don't if the tires were inflated properly. I've only put 2,200 miles on it myself. At the 5,000 mile service my dealer told me there was a recall on the front Dunlop 407,to be changed to a 408 so I'm going to change the rear as well, and have fresh rubber all around to go to Biketoberfest. I hope I'll get better milage on the new rubber.Do you guys inflate to recomended pressure or higher. The rec'd TP is 36 front,38 rear.
Right now sitting at 10,200 and needs to be replaced. No cords showing, but maybe could swing another 1000 miles out of it. All my miles are highway speeds; rarely ever ride the bike in town unless I am taking it to get washed.
