..... and still can't use the detach stuff that the OP wanted to keep and re-use. ..and that fender on ebay needs painting and choppin' about so why not get a used Fat Boy fender for a lot less and Bob and repaint that instead ? Then lower the original suspension to max. Stick to your original requirements and see how it goes before you remortgage your house for something you cant take your other half out for a ride with lol..just sayin'

But if your going solo take a look at this..not Heartland $$$$ either..

So am I, but the constant expendatures (when they shouldn't be necessary) are getting annoying.

Kinda like going into a cykel shop and looking for an upgrade on yer standard dust cap and going home with new dingledangleberry chrome wheels on yer ride

ok..another solution,keep the struts,buy a blank fender like from ebay or here
