Don't know for sure. I use Novus 1 doesn't really repell but allows rain to roll off @about 30 mph and higher. They told me never to use that stuff at the dealer where I bought mine. Could be that they just want to sell theirs. I just haven't had the ***** to try it.

Why not rainX? I don't have a windshield but I use it on my full face helmet and it works great. Give us a technical reason.

Rain x is probably solvent based and not compatable witn plastics. Like gas on asphalt.
