Brand is not as important as finding the right fit. I just put West Coast T-Bars on the wife's sportster. They have very little pullback. I was running Wild 1 WO560's with 14.5" of pullback before these. I like the new bars with less pullback more than the massive amount of pullback on the Wild 1's.

I find that raising the height of the bars always makes me more comfortable. It sounds to me like a Drag barf with 4" of pullback or so 7" tall would be about what you wnat, but it is difficult to say what works for someone else.

WAhog,

How tall are you? Trying to get a feel for similar sized rider..

I am 5'11" with fairly long arms.

I'm 6" but fairly average arm length so you should be good with long arms.

This is a pic of me with the chrome versions that I had previously which although slightly thinner (1 1/2" vs 1 3/4") have the same pull back.

wow 9 hours to put bars on by a dealer? That means it will take me like 36 hours????? Sounds like a good winter project. I have months to get it done.

Thanks, the photography on the static pics where just taken on an iPhone4 with an app called Hipstamatic - simulates amazing old style lenses and effects. The riding pic was taken by a friend who now lives in Ghana of all places
