I've got a 010 FatBoy, the dealer had installed Harley Street Slammer drag bars on it (and other stuff) while on the showroom floor.

I would like to put the stock bars back on it, but I'm a little "spooked" by the internal wireing. Does anyone know how tough is it to switch bars with internal wireing ??

 

Read this thread I put in the sportster section. It shoudl be pretty simple except you will have to slide the tank back to get to the plugs.

ha DR if i got the wild 1 W0570 , would i have to replace the cables and the wires on a 08 fatboy with stock bars ?

 

With 18" apes you will have to change all cables and add a wiring extension.
