Default Cross Bones oil tank options??

Was wondering if anyone knows of any oil tanks that will fit the Cross Bones, thinking of going to a round oil tank instead of the horseshoe. I will be replacing my rear fender with a FatBoy fender if that makes any difference. All I can find on J&P Cycles and sites like that are the horshoe tanks.

pretty sure that the horse shoe one is the only one possible for us bones guys bc thats where everything is all the wiring battery fuse box ect... unless you have a way to enclose all of that, hide it and support it, then your looking at having to make or have some custom brackets made to mount the round tank. just what comes to mind right off the bat.

I put a round one on my fatboy that I got from j+p. Has a battery box built in. I'll see if I can find the part # when I get home

Thanks guys, yeah they stuff a lot of stuff up under that seat. I saw the one on J+P but wasn't sure if it would work or not.

I stuffed everything under my seat pan on my Train. You just have to be a little inventive......

Nice pics and beautiful rides. So now that I see the round oil tanks I know it is possible. All I need to decide now is chrome or painted.

Default round oil tank on cross bones

Im looking at doing the same thing... but all the round oil tanks i see are "for softails up to 1999". is this only for the mounting? or do i have to look at other issues like how the lines connect to the tank etc???
