Default Clutch cable hitting front fender....can I just wire tie it?

I just got my 2011 Deluxe and I noticed the clutch cable was touching the front fender. Can I just wire tie it out of the way?

As long as you don't make any sharp bends that restrict movement, the cable wont know any better.

2011, take it in have dealer fix it, it is within the warranty window. That bike is way to new to deal with that BS. It may or may not be a bad thing but screw that it's brand new.

Don't ride it like that! I had mine serviced a couple of month's ago in South Miami. The tech either neglected to snap the clip on the downtube that holds the cable or it came loose and by the time I got down to Key West it had rubbed a big spot of paint off of my front fender.

Can't imagine how the stock clutch cable could be so long as to rub against the fender. I've seen brake lines do that on some bikes but never a clutch.

Get it off the fender with a zip tie and get it back to the dealer and find out what's up with it.

There is a wire tie that slid down the frame. I just moved it up and all is well. Maybe during "set up and freight" someone forgot to slide the wire tie up...

I was gonna say take it back to the dealer but looks like ya found the issue and fixed it.
