Cam swap on my Heritage
Ok so my heritage has 30,000 miles on her now and Im gonna put it in the shop here shortly to get the cam chain tensioners replaced and all that good stuff. Well whlie its in the shop I figured that it would be easy to do a cam swap with gear driven cams since he is already gonna be in there. Im not interested in doin a big bore kit or anything, just cams..I want a little more of a meaner idle and sound and maybe a little more power. Its fuel injected so I cant expect a whole lot of difference in idle but maybe a little..What cams do yall recommened?? Im just now learning bout the cams so all opinions are welcome!! thanks

I am in the same market for a cam only. My mechanic said I will feel a lot more torque but not that much horse power with the one he is putting in mine. I dont know which one it is honestly but it is a cam set up for a touring bike. I have a 2006 Heritage and I do a lot of two up riding. Weight two up is say hmmm 390 pounds with a rack bag weighing around 75ish. Mountain riding and interstates is where I travel. Can anyone give me an example of what I can expect with the described type of cam?
