Default thinking about buying a night train

Looking at buying a night train and wanted to get some opinions on them. How well do you like your night train? Looking at an 02 with 10k mi and an 07 with 7.5k mi. What are some, if any of the differences between the two bikes? Rear tire size and anything else? Thanks.

I would definitely lean toward the 07. The Night Train is such an awesome ride, you can do a lot of different directions with it.

Any train is a good train but I'd stick with the 07...

For myself, I prefer the '02. I don't care for the handling of the 200 rear tire. I prefer the 88 motor in the '02 to the newer version, but you will find different takes from other riders.

You cannot go wrong with either bike. The Night Train and the FXST are the very essence of Harley boiled down and concentrated into a fine machine...

Night Train is a great motorcycle. Still unique with all the dark custom series bikes, but I would get an 07 or 08 if you could.

I get compliments all the time on mine.

Is the '02 a carbed bike? What's the diff in price? That said, I agree with bjewell. **I also have a 2000 NT so I'm biased.**

Yeah, I forgot, what Branner said. A carb'd bike is gonna sound like a Harley. It's going to give you a ride that no FI bike can. If you are into the true feel of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, then don't be afraid to look at older bikes. A carb'd 88" five-speed has it in spades...

Love my '07. 96", 6 speed and 200 rear are the way to go.
