whatever dude. that guy's got no cred. If he does have cred, he's done nothing to display it here. he's been showing up under multiple accounts and all he does he trash the 6 speed with all of it's "problems." Don't drink his kool-aid. not yet, at least.

 

Hey Hollywood,i think your mixing me up with someone else,ive been on 2 threads reguarding the 6 speeds,1 to say im glad ive got a 5 speed box and another to warn someone else,that there seems to be aproblem with the 6 speed,the people doing the complaining are the guys with the 6 speeds,which aint me,i couldnt give a f**k.

 

I was referring to the same guys you were referring to, not you.

 

sixth gear is the chit....wouldnt get a bike without it

 

Just bought a 09 and love it. Six speed is the best thing harley has done in a while..And the 200 is bad ***..

 

Go with the 07 train and you'll be happy you did, you may want to change out the bars............that's no biggie!

 

Thanks. I was/am getting real close to pulling the trigger on the 07 but starting to rethink alittle.
How does the 200mm tire negatively affect the handling of the bike?
Were the issues brought up about the 6 speed justified?

 

the 200 handles awesome, you can throw it around like a rocket, well i do.....there was no issue with the six speed , when they came out in 06 on the dynas they put a 55,000 mile replacement on it cuz they wurnt sure of the life of the bearing, but after wile they got rid of the replacement....the other issue was 5 gear wine, people didnt like noise i guess, but its a harley i hear all kinds of noise and is normal, but ride it instead of losing sleep over a noise...you will be happy with the 07...i am, i cant get the smile off my face when riding............

 

The EFI is an improvement in almost every possible way over a Carb,Don't let the old timers sway you, They'll be in the parking lot fiddling with thier choke **** while you are already 2 miles down the road with a big fat smile on your face!
