The biggest threat I guess would be the clutch springs and shoulder bolts holding them in. But this is only a problem when at a stop and if the clutch is pulled in it is no big deal since the basket stops spinning.

Just buy one already. You will love it right away. And laugh when people always come up and say "How do you drive it like that"

I would LOVE to buy one! Only thing is...they are a little cost prohibitive right now. Lol. Just last night I was imagining my bike with an open belt drive...then thought of Story and consoled myself saying, "he has a cool enough bike without belt drive". I guess that popped in my head because I was also picturing the jockey shift...oh, well. Someday...

Thanks Doc... But your bike is clean and new brother you got time to do whatever you want... it took 5 years of saving here and there and a bunch of the best friends a guy could ask for... Oh yeah and a cool wife that understands it's all or nothing... She don't complain at all about the ride, I got me a good one!

Aint that the truth. I have had mine for over 3 years now and it still is not too far from stock at all.

Thanks brah... But I gotta say if I hadn't stumbled upon this place "HDF" a few years ago I would have never started modding the bike in the first place. Lots of help from others on here and great friends that set the bar real high so I'm just trying to keep up with them... lol
