Love it! After the last discussion on here about open belt drives I am really wanting one!

One question: aren't there usually covers...or something like that? It just seems more "open" than your usual BDL open-belt drive...

Yeah it has round covers that go on the front and back but it looks much better stripped down imo

The standard 3 inch BDL comes just as he mounted it. Of course with out the cool black powder coating and kick **** engraving. They also come with some dome covers for the front and rear pulley but like his I never ran those. They are kinda like hub caps. Some of the higher end set ups come with other full covers. Running it wide open is no big deal at all. Just make sure you always pay attention to what you are doing and you will be just fine.
