I don't have the coin to do a full system....I just bought the bike and I don't have another $1800-$2000 to do it "the right way". I've heard a lot of people happy with slip-ons....so it should tide me over. I'm torn between the Vance and Hines HS Slip-ons and the Rush 1.75"s.

I've got a pair of slightly used Rush slip-ons slash cut 2" for cheap. Like the Dr. says, you will be wanting a full system soon after you install the slip-ons.

As I said a thousand time... we still love our Rush 2"".. and have for 28k miles...put them on at the 1k service and there still on....Deep, throaty sound.. mellow at cruise speeds and will make U smile when U get on it..

I like the slash better than the baloney.. just me.

Nicky, you would have no issues because of the stock head pipes which creates enough back pressure. I have 2 bikes, stock, and have 2 1/4" on them with no lost low end that is noticeable.

No issues. It is because the head pipes are 1 3/4 stepped up to 2 1/4.

Default slip ons

cycle shack slip ons proven performance ran them for two seasons before they made a decent set of pipes for the deluxe. I got my deluxe in 04 there was nothing good available for it . cycle shack was one of the first to make an offering
