Footboard extensions question on fit and colour for Bones

Footboard extensions question on fit and colour for Bones
Did a search on this but couldn't quite find what I need to know, forgive me if already widely discussed..
I am considering the HD Extended Reach Rider Footboard Kit 50409-04 for my 2010 Bones. Doesn't say on the info what colour, if thats even applicable. I have a black billet brake pedal ready to fit, so want to keep it dark.
Anyone got these and Is this all I need to shift my boards forward?
Have seen the positive reviews on the widening kits, but wanna keep all of the limited ground clearance I already got ...
Was considering the HD black moustache crash bars, which have integral highway pegs but they look you would have to lift your legs a bit too high ..
