I ride at night during the summer....the summer nights are fuggin wonderful.
Today it hit 107.8 on my patio, and I am sick of this heat!!!!!
Relief is on it way though....cold front coming tomorrow afternoon and will knock the temps down to the low 90's....may even see high 60's at night! Probably only last for a few days or a week...but cooler temps are on the way.
Hit here this morning! It's nice if you like 50mph winds LOL Winds should be gone in a few hours, but the temps are REALLY nice. The rest of the week the temps at 73134 are gonna be a HIGH of 94 on Saturday...all the other days will top out between 87-91deg.
Hey Warg, I'm off 1187 between Mansfield and Burleson. I'm contemplating doing cams in Jan or Feb next year. Maybe all three of us could really cut down the price of the specialty tools.
That's would be cool. I make that drive going to Babe's Chicken as often as I can.
The temps are supposed to top out between 90 - 94 the rest of the week.
Cool, as long as my wife isn't giving birth, I will plan on going. I am putting cash together now for a Fat Cat. Cams will come if I can money for both. I also want to upgrade the cam plate, pump, tensioners etc. I'm up for doing both installs at once. We might be able to rent the tools and save a little cash if we only rent one set.
I am in for the tool rental.. And if we get the parts the same place maybe we can get a better deal.
Well, I think I got ya beat. It was 90 at 4:30 am here with a high of 113 today. To painful to ride. I wonder why I live in Phoenix... At least until december, than I remember why.

I *bet* Phoenix is AWESOME in the late fall and winter...haven't tried it when the asphalt is liquid yet...
i left Sturgis at 70 in the am and a day later in Oklahoma it was 106 and the highway was much hotter. Stopped every 30 min for water. Ride safe. Was 105 in Austin the other day. Looking forward to rain.
